  • Village Harmony - World music singing camps for teens and adults taught by masters.  Three songbooks and several recordings with South African songs are available.
  • Polokwane Chorale Society – South African choral source for much of Val’s repertoire.
  • Vela Vela -  Teaching DVD produced by South African music specialist Mollie Stone.
  • Global Voices – Two South African teaching DVD’s produced by Mary Goetze, director of the International Vocal Ensemble at Indiana University.  Especially effective presentation of words and movements.
  • Kutsinhira – A community of people in and near Eugene, Oregon, responding to the rich musical tradition of the people of Zimbabwe by creating a center for teaching and performing Zimbabwean music.
  • Zimfest – Annual international celebration of Zimbabwean music and culture. 3 days, 100 workshops, 30 hours of concerts.
