Val Rogers' South African Dance-Song Workshop "Lively Up!" paired with moira smiley & VOCO's "Harmony & Stomp" workshop invites you to inhabit musical realms of rhythm and harmony made from your own body. We'll go to the heart and get to the root of making music together in a natural way.

VOCO's gentle, fast-paced workshop instantly engages singers at all levels in harmony and percussive movement. You will enjoy the unique style and language of songs from different traditions, and play with rhythm, vocal colors and techniques. Video: Bring Me Little Water, Silvy.

Lively Up! with Val Rogers offers a fresh uplifting experience of singing the South African way - inclusive, accessible, expansive, and above all - totally FUN! Learn traditional choral songs integrated with expressive movement and experience how body and voice support each other and how the collective energy empowers all. Video: Dubula.
